SE-SYNC-002: Setup code is incomplete
The text starts like a setup code, but part of it is missing, so it cannot be decrypted.
What it says
SE-SYNC-002: Setup code is incomplete. Part of the code is missing. Copy the whole thing and try again.
Where you see it
In Receive setup, under the key boxes after you type the eighth character of the key: the message is the hint followed by "Error SE-SYNC-002" (the title is not shown there). The boxes clear and shake.
What to do
- 01On the sending device, choose Copy Setup Code again, and copy the whole code.
- 02On this device, choose Rescan (at the top of the screen on iPhone, under the key boxes on iPad and Mac, where it reads Use a Different Code when the camera could not be used). Then choose Enter Code (iPhone) or Enter Setup Code Instead (iPad and Mac), unless the code field is already showing.
- 03Choose Paste, then Continue, and type the key.
