SE-SYNC-003: Wrong key
The key did not unlock the code. Usually the key was mistyped; a code damaged on the way looks the same.
What it says
SE-SYNC-003: Wrong key. Wrong key, or this code was damaged in transit.
Where you see it
In Receive setup, under the key boxes after you type the eighth character of the key: the message is the hint followed by "Error SE-SYNC-003" (the title is not shown there). The boxes clear and shake.
What to do
- 01Type the eight characters shown under Key on the sending device again. Lower case is fine and the hyphen is optional.
- 02The sending screen replaces the code and key every 5 minutes. If it changed, choose Rescan on this device and scan the new code, then type the new key.
- 03If it is still refused, choose New Code & Key on the sending device and start again.
