SE-SYNC-004: Setup code could not be read
The key unlocked the code, but what was inside could not be read. The code unlocked but its contents were damaged. Send a fresh one.

SE-SYNC-004: Setup code could not be read. The code unlocked but its contents were damaged. Send a fresh one.
Where you see it
In Receive setup, under the key boxes after you type the eighth character of the key: the message is the hint followed by "Error SE-SYNC-004" (the title is not shown there). The boxes clear and shake. Any other failure while reading the code gets this code too, unless the app can read it as another.
What to do
- 01On the sending device, choose New Code & Key.
- 02On this device, choose Rescan (at the top of the screen on iPhone, under the key boxes on iPad and Mac) and scan the new code, or paste it.
- 03Type the new key.
