Remove a camera
Remove one camera, every camera in a location, or copies of a camera saved twice.
Remove one camera
You can also choose Remove Camera in Quick camera settings. The camera's saved streams and sign-in are removed from this device. When camera sync is on, the camera is also removed from your other synced devices.
- 01Open the camera's settings (see Change a camera's name, location or address).
- 02Choose Remove Camera. On iPad and Mac it is at the foot of the section list. On iPhone, and in narrow windows, it is the red row below the sections. It is also in Maintenance.
- 03Choose Remove to confirm.
Remove every camera in a location
Cameras in other locations are untouched, and the location itself is kept.
- 01Open More > Cams & Streams, and under Locations choose Manage. On Mac you can also choose Cameras > Locations in the menu bar.
- 02On the location, choose Remove the Camera (or Remove All N Cameras).
- 03Choose Remove to confirm.
Remove duplicate cameras
One copy of each camera stays, with its sign-in. Copies are matched when they answer at the same address and port. The removed copies also go from every device that syncs.
- 01When the same camera is saved more than once, a message says 1 duplicate camera (or N duplicate cameras). Choose Review.
- 02In Duplicate cameras, each group shows the copy that stays and the copies that go. Untick a group to keep it.
- 03Choose Remove 1 copy (or Remove N copies).
