Show all your cameras on a wall

Open the wall

This article is for iPhone and iPad. On a Mac, walls open in their own windows: see Put walls on your Mac displays.

1. 01iPhone: on Live, choose the full screen icon at the top right (Full Screen Wall).
2. 02iPad: choose Full Screen at the top right.
3. 03The wall shows every camera Live is showing, on black, with no sound. On iPhone it turns to landscape.

• The button is dimmed on iPhone, and hidden on iPad, until you have a camera.

Open it by itself when the screen is left alone

It opens only from Live, with nothing else open on top. To keep the screen on, turn on Keep the screen awake in the same group.

1. 01Choose More, then General.
2. 02Under Screen (iPhone) or Window (iPad), set Full screen when idle to Off, 30 sec, 1 min or 5 min. The default is 1 min, so out of the box the wall opens after a minute without a touch on Live.

Use the wall

• The clock and the network chip sit at the top centre.
• More cameras than tiles: swipe to the next page. Dots at the bottom show the page (a counter such as “3 / 12” once there are more than 10 pages). Only the page on screen plays.
• To page by itself, choose More, General, Auto-advance pages, and pick 10 sec or 30 sec. Swiping restarts the countdown.
• The buttons at the top right fade after a few seconds. Touch the screen to bring them back.
• The grid button opens Change wall layout. See Choose a wall layout.
• A tile that stopped says Tap to retry. A tile that is reconnecting retries by itself.
• A camera with no playable address shows its name and No playable stream. Fix it from Live, where the same tile has a Fix This Camera button.

Rearrange the tiles

1. 01Touch and hold a tile until it lifts.
2. 02Drag it onto another tile.
3. 03Let go. The two swap places, and the new order is saved. Live and full screen use the same order.

Leave the wall

Choose the close button at the top right (Exit Monitor), or press Escape on a keyboard.
