Open a camera full screen

Open full screen

From an extra tile, full screen opens on the camera's own tile. Swipe to reach the extra tile.

1. 01Choose Live, then the camera.
2. 02Choose the expand button at the bottom right of the picture, or double tap (on a Mac, double-click) the picture.
3. 03On iPhone the view turns to landscape. On a Mac, full screen fills the SecureEyes window; to fill the whole display, also use the system full screen item in the View menu.

What you can do

• Snapshot (the camera icon at the top): save a still. See Take a snapshot and save it to Photos.
• The speaker icon at the top (Unmute or Mute): full screen always opens muted.
• On iPhone and iPad, swipe left or right to go to the next camera, in the same order as your wall.
• On iPhone and iPad, pinch with two fingers to zoom in. It springs back when you let go.
• The buttons fade after a few seconds. Touch or click the screen to bring them back.
• The chip beside the camera name shows whether this device's network connection is up and how much it is carrying.
• On an extra tile, a pin icon at the top (Remove Pin) asks “Remove this pinned tile?”, then removes that tile and leaves full screen. Extra tiles have no stream chips.

Switch the stream

If the camera has more than one stream, chips at the bottom list them, for example Main and Sub. A pin marks the stream saved as the camera's default, if one is saved. Full screen opens on the stream the camera was playing on Live.

1. 01Choose a chip to play that stream here. This changes only this view.
2. 02To keep it, choose Make default. It appears whenever the stream you are watching is not saved as the camera's default, which is always the case until you save one.

• Make default saves that stream for the camera on Live and on every wall, including walls of more than 4 tiles. To undo it, open Settings on Live and set Stream view back to Auto.

Leave full screen

Choose the arrow at the top left (Back), or press Escape on a keyboard.
