SE-PLAN-005: The licence server could not be reached
From SecureEyes 1.2. This device could not get a usable answer from the licence server, in a way that is not plainly being offline: the server's certificate did not check out, its answer could not be read, or the connection dropped partway.
What it says
SE-PLAN-005: The licence server could not be reached. Check this device's internet connection and try again.
Where you see it
On the Hub page (More, then Hub): a warning titled The Hub could not be licensed from here, with the hint, "Error SE-PLAN-005" and "the licence server could not be reached" with the error. It comes when Pro is activated for a Hub on request: after pairing this device with a Hub, Check now on the Licence row, Activate Pro under Pro is waiting for you on this Hub, or freeing a seat on the Your Pro plan covers 3 Hubs sheet. The renewal the app does by itself, when the Hub page opens or in the background, shows nothing. A device that is plainly offline gets a different warning, with no code: Activating Pro needs an internet connection. The Hub starts working as soon as this device is online.
What to do
- Check that this device is connected to the internet.
- A network that shows its own sign-in page, such as hotel or guest Wi-Fi, can cause this. Sign in there first, or use another connection.
- On the Hub page, try again: choose Check now on the Licence row (shown while the Hub is blocked), or Activate Pro when the page shows Pro is waiting for you on this Hub.
