SE-STRM-001: No playable stream
The camera answered, but not with a video stream at the address SecureEyes has for it, or SecureEyes has no stream saved for it at all. After a camera action, the code means only that the camera answered "not found" to that request; the stream is not the problem there.
What it says
SE-STRM-001: No playable stream. Re-detect streams or add an RTSP URL.
Where you see it
On the Live stage (full screen shows no code), the camera's panel reads "<camera> refused the stream" with the badge CANNOT OPEN STREAM, and an amber line under it ends with "Error SE-STRM-001". Copy Details copies the camera, the code and the reason. The same failure is the subtitle of the connection row in the camera's settings under Connection & Access, and on a Mac wall window the tile shows the bare code. Its first button is Retry: the first press retries, and later presses ask the camera for its streams again. Elsewhere: on Live, a camera saved with no stream shows a tile with its name, "No playable stream" (no code) and Fix This Camera (full screen shows the same tile with Fix This Camera; the in-app wall shows it without the button); its connection row under Connection & Access says "No playable stream" with the hint and "Use Re-detect above." (no code); and after adding cameras from a scan, an error message names the cameras that came in with no stream, carries "Error SE-STRM-001" unless the reason reads as another code, and offers Try known settings. It also comes as an error message after a camera action (Run test and Reboot under Maintenance, Check Again, Fetch Thumbnail, the Change OSD name switch, Light on Live) when the camera's answer to that request says 404 or "not found".
What to do
- 01Open the camera's settings: in Live, select the camera, choose Settings under the picture, then Advanced Settings. A camera saved with no stream shows Fix This Camera in place of the picture, which opens the same page.
- 02Choose Video. Under Re-detect stream, choose Re-detect. SecureEyes asks the camera for its streams again.
- 03If nothing is found, choose Connection & Access. Under Stream profile, choose Change Profile. In Try known settings, choose Test all, then Use on a setting that works.
- 04If you know the camera's RTSP path, choose Enter Manually under Stream profile, type the Main stream path, and choose Apply and Reconnect.
- 05If the code came after a camera action rather than on the Live panel, the steps above do not apply: the camera answered "not found" to that action.
