Where you see it
On the Live stage (full screen shows no code), the camera's panel reads "<camera> refused the stream" with the badge CANNOT OPEN STREAM, and an amber line under it ends with "Error SE-STRM-002". Copy Details copies the camera, the code and the reason. The same failure is the subtitle of the connection row in the camera's settings under Connection & Access, and on a Mac wall window the tile shows the bare code. The engine words this as a codec or decoder it cannot open.
What to do
- 01In the camera's own settings (its web page or its maker's app), set the stream's video encoding to H.264 or H.265. SecureEyes' Advanced video settings change the resolution, frame rate and keyframe interval, not the encoding.
- 02If the camera has more than one stream, choose Try main stream on the Live panel, or pick another stream in the camera's settings under Video > Live view quality.
- 03Choose Retry.
