SE-STRM-004: Camera is busy
The camera answered RTSP 503: it is already serving as many video streams as it allows.
What it says
SE-STRM-004: Camera is busy. This camera is serving all the streams it allows. Close another viewer and try again.
Where you see it
On the Live stage (full screen shows no code), the camera's panel reads "<camera> is not responding" with the badge OFFLINE ("Loading <camera>" while a camera that has never played is still being tried), and an amber line under it ends with "Error SE-STRM-004". The same failure is the subtitle of the connection row in the camera's settings under Connection & Access, and on a Mac wall window the tile shows NO SIGNAL or RECONNECTING with the bare code under it. The amber line reads "RTSP 503 · camera busy or at its stream limit" before the code. It also comes as an error message after a camera action (Run test and Reboot under Maintenance, Check Again, Fetch Thumbnail, the Change OSD name switch, Light on Live) whose failure says 503 or "service unavailable".
What to do
- 01Close another app, recorder or viewer that is watching this camera, for example the maker's app or a video recorder.
- 02Back on Live, when the panel reads "<camera> is not responding", choose Retry Now. While it reads "Loading <camera>" it is still retrying on its own and has no buttons.
