Watch back footage from your Hub

What Playback is

Playback shows what your Hub recorded for one camera on one day, with the day's motion drawn on a band under the picture. It is only there for cameras in a location paired to a Hub. See Set up a Hub from the app.

Open Playback

1. 01iPhone: in Live, bring the camera onto the main picture and choose Watch back, next to Pan & Zoom.
2. 02iPad and Mac: in Live, choose Playback in the Live and Playback switch above the picture.
3. 03From an event: open it in Events and choose Watch back. Playback starts 10 seconds before the event. In a window at least 640 points wide, rows in the list also have a button named Open in Playback.
4. 04From the Hub page: choose More, then Hub. Under THIS DEVICE, next to Recordings, choose Browse the Hub's recordings. If the location has more than one camera, choose one in the Playback list.

• Watch back and Playback appear only when the location shown in Live has a Hub. Watch back is hidden while that camera is recording.
• The iPhone route applies whenever the window's shorter side is under 600 points.

Move through the day

1. 01Use the arrows at the top for the previous or next day, or choose the date between them to open a calendar. A dot marks a day with footage. Today jumps back to today.
2. 02Play or pause with the large middle button. The buttons beside it go back or forward 10 seconds, and to the previous or next event (Previous event, Next event).
3. 03Drag along the band under the picture and let go to play from there. Use the minus and plus buttons (Show more time, Show less time) to change how much of the day the band shows.
4. 04Turn on Motion only to fade everything on the band except motion.
5. 05Choose the speed: 1x, 2x, 4x or 10x. Above 2x there is no sound. At 10x still minutes are skipped.

• When the playhead is in a stretch with no footage, a line says why, for example "Hub was off", "Disk was full" or "Camera was not answering".
• On iPad and Mac, with 2 or more cameras in the location and a window at least 980 points wide, a CAMERAS list on the left switches camera.
• "Nothing recorded on this day." means the Hub has no footage for that day, or could not be reached.

Save a frame

1. 01Pause where you want.
2. 02Choose the camera button, Save frame. The frame is saved in Events at the time it was recorded, and a preview offers Share and Add to Photos.

• A frame older than your Keep events for setting is deleted from Events the next time SecureEyes starts. Choose Add to Photos to keep a copy.

Save a clip

1. 01Play from where the clip should start.
2. 02Choose Record. The recording screen opens and counts footage time.
3. 03Choose the stop button. The Hub cuts that stretch and it arrives in Clips marked FROM HUB.

• The Hub cuts with Recording quality and Clip format from More, then Recording & Storage.
