Reset your Hub from the app

Wipe the Hub to new, for a fresh start or a new owner. The app says exactly what goes before it does anything.

What goes

Everything on the Hub: cameras, walls, events, recordings, settings, every paired device, and its identity. Other files on its recording disk are left alone. It cannot be undone.

Reset it

  1. 01Go to Settings, then Hub.
  2. 02At the bottom, tap Reset next to Reset this Hub.
  3. 03Read what goes, then confirm. If the location keeps its camera passwords only on the Hub, the list names every camera you will need to add again, with its password.
  4. 04The Hub restarts unclaimed, with its setup code on its screen, and this device forgets it.
  5. 05To use it again, set it up from the app.
  • If the Hub cannot be reached, nothing is reset and this device keeps its pairing. The app says The Hub did not reset.

Your other devices

Other devices that used the Hub show That is not the Hub you paired with once it has reset. On each one, unpair it on the Hub page, then set the Hub up again or pair with it again.

Its seat on your Pro plan

A Hub that can reach the licence server frees its own seat as it resets. If it could not, remove it under Hubs on your Pro plan.

Reset a Hub to new

A reset wipes everything on the Hub, its identity too, and it starts again unclaimed. Do it from the web page, the app, or the Hub's own terminal.
