SE-STA-008: Camera unreachable from hub
A still for this stream did not load. The camera not answering the Hub is one cause. The same mark appears when the Hub is blocked (it serves no live view or stills), when its media engine is down (SE-STA-007), and when the box has no ffmpeg to make stills.
What it says
SE-STA-008: camera unreachable from hub
Where you see it
On the Hub's web page, on a camera's page: "NO STILL · SE-STA-008" in place of the still at the top of the page, and "NO STILL" over SE-STA-008 in a stream's frame under ONE FRAME PER STREAM. (The Cameras list shows "NO STILL" with no code.) The page draws this whenever a still fails to load, whatever the reason. The Hub also logs SE-STA-008 when nothing is being recorded for a camera because it stopped answering.
What to do
- 01On the Hub's page, open Overview. If NEEDS ATTENTION shows the Hub blocked (for example SE-STA-028) or the media engine down (SE-STA-007), deal with that first: stills stay dark until it is fixed.
- 02Check that the camera has power and is connected to the network the Hub is on.
- 03Open Cameras, then open the camera again: its page takes a new still each time it opens. (Refresh stills on the Cameras list retakes the list's stills.)
- 04If the camera's address or sign-in changed, correct it on the camera's page (see Change a camera's settings on the Hub).
- 05To see when recording stopped for it, open Settings > Logs and type SE-STA-008 in the filter box.
