Reolink cameras
Turn on ONVIF and add a camera user, then add the camera to SecureEyes. Stream paths, the second lens of a TrackMix, and what we have tested.
Before you add it
These menus are Reolink's, and they can differ by model and firmware.
- 01Turn on ONVIF: Settings > Network > Advanced > Port Settings. It is off by default.
- 02Add a user on the camera for SecureEyes, and sign in with it.
- 03In SecureEyes, add the camera. See Connect your first camera.
Ports and stream paths
- ONVIF: SecureEyes looks on your default ONVIF port first, then on 80, 8899, 8000, 8080, 5000 and 2020. The tested TrackMix answers on 8000 and 80.
- SecureEyes treats a camera as Reolink when the maker or model name it reports over ONVIF contains Reolink. It then uses /Preview_01_main for the main stream and /Preview_01_sub for the substream. A camera that reports more than one lens over ONVIF gets the streams it reports instead.
- RTSP: SecureEyes builds these paths on port 554. If the camera serves RTSP on another port, set it for that camera: Connection & Access > Stream profile > Enter Manually > RTSP port.
- SecureEyes also knows /h264Preview_01_main and /h264Preview_01_sub, which its table lists for older Reolink firmware. It does not switch to these by itself for a camera it treats as Reolink. If the picture does not start, type them with Enter Manually: see Choose a camera's stream, or set its stream paths.
A second lens
The tested TrackMix serves its second lens as /Preview_02_main and /Preview_02_sub. Over ONVIF it reports only one lens, so SecureEyes asks for the next channel on the Reolink paths itself and adds the second lens's streams to the same camera. The TrackMix's third view, its auto-tracking stream (/Preview_01_autotrack), is not added: it is not one of SecureEyes' Reolink paths.
What SecureEyes controls
- The spotlight turns on and off through Reolink's own interface. Tested on the TrackMix (15 Aug 2026).
- The Record audio switch and Change OSD name can also go through Reolink's own interface. Neither is tested yet.

What we tested
- Reolink TrackMix PoE (dual-lens), firmware v3.2.0.5931 as the camera reports it.
- RTSP answers on port 554, and ONVIF on 8000 and 80.
- The second lens: on 19 Aug 2026 a probe found video at /Preview_02_main and /Preview_02_sub, and nothing at /Preview_03.
- ONVIF motion events work (22 Aug 2026).
- The spotlight turns on and off (15 Aug 2026).
- A lab test on 12 Aug 2026 recorded results by brand, not by model. For Reolink: the camera rejected encoder changes, so its resolution and bitrate could not be changed from SecureEyes; pan and tilt worked; it reported no zoom.
Not tested yet
- Auto-tracking on the TrackMix. Pan and tilt are recorded only in the 12 Aug brand result above, which does not name the model.
- Whether a SecureEyes scan finds it, and its substream.
- Which video codec the main stream uses on this firmware.
- The Record audio switch, and Change OSD name through Reolink's own interface.
- Older Reolink firmware and other Reolink models.
