Getting started
Camera brands

Cameras
- Change a camera's name, location or addressOpen a camera's settings, then rename it, move it to another location, or follow it to a new IP address.

Live view

Troubleshooting

- Video won't play or keeps stoppingRead the state on the picture, use the button SecureEyes offers, and fix the cause on the camera or in its settings.
- Sign-in rejected with the right passwordMany cameras keep a separate account for apps. Create it on the camera, update the sign-in in SecureEyes, and wait out a lockout.
- Why is my Events tab empty?Events fill only when something watches for motion. Turn on Motion border, check Detect motion on each camera, and know what Free captures.

Privacy & sync

Your Hub
- Set up a Hub from the appClaim a new Hub with SecureEyes on a device that has Pro: scan the code on its screen, type it, or claim it from the list of Hubs on your network.
- Add a phone or tablet to your HubA device that uses the Hub shows a one-time code and the new device scans it. Every paired device is an admin, and any of them can remove another.
- Open the Hub's web page, or sign a browser inOpen Hub admin opens the Hub's page on this device, already signed in. Sign in a browser signs another computer in when you scan the code on its screen.
- Watch back footage from your HubPlay what your Hub recorded for a camera, jump to motion, and save a frame or a clip.
- Watch your cameras away from homeWith a Pro Hub, turn on Watch away from home while you are at home. The Hub keeps a line open outward to the SecureEyes relay, sealed end to end, and the app reaches the Hub through it when you are out.Preview
- Reset your Hub from the appWipe the Hub to new, for a fresh start or a new owner. The app lists what goes before anything happens.
- Hubs on your Pro planOne Pro purchase activates up to 3 Hubs. See them, and free a seat, on a device that holds the purchase.
- When your Hub is blockedA Hub that has an owner and no valid licence stops serving live view and recording. The app says why, what to do, and the error code.
- When the app cannot reach your HubWhat the Hub page shows when the Hub does not answer, or when something else answers in its place, and what to do.
- Why this device left its HubWhen this device's plan is confirmed below Pro, it unpairs from its Hub by itself and says so. Nothing on the Hub is deleted.
